Our services
BTS only requests your personal details for the following purposes:
- Executing assignments for consultancy, intermediary work or other services;
- Complying with legal duties and obligations; or
- Those purposes for which have given explicit consent.
Your details shall not be processed for other purposes without your consent.
Personal details shall be requested for the execution of an assignment.
Rules for personal details
If BTS uses your personal details, BTS has to comply with legal regulations. These rules impact the processing of personal details:
- BTS is obliged to process certain (personal) details. There is therefore a legal basis for processing your details.
- BTS is obliged to check certain (personal) details.
- BTS is obliged to check your identity. For this purpose BTS has to ask you for valid proof of identity.
- Your personal details are confidential. Unauthorized parties do not have access to the details.
Source of personal details
If BTS processes any personal details that you did not provide this is always within the scope of the assignment granted to us. The source of those details are in that case:
- Public registers
Passing on your personal details
BTS shall only pass on your personal details to others (third parties) if this is mandated by law or if this is essential for the execution of the work.
BTS provides personal details to the following recipients:
- Clients for whom intermediary services are provided
- Accountants
- Payroll firms
Retaining your personal details
BTS shall only save your personal details for the period of time required for the purpose for which these details were collected, for the execution of legal duties and compliance with legal obligations or the execution of agreements (for example: legal **).
Your rights for personal details that we processed
If your personal details are processed by BTS, you exercise the following rights based on the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
This can be done by an application (preferably in writing) to the contact details in this privacy statement. Before we grant your application we shall check your identity based on valid proof of identity.
Right of inspection by the party involved
You can always ask which personal details BTS processes, for what purpose and how long these details are stored. There might be a legal basis preventing us from answer your question. We shall assess this and inform you accordingly.
Right of correction
If in your opinion certain details have not been processed correctly, you can request correction of these details.
Right of deletion of details (right to ‘oblivion’)
If you want your personal details to be deleted you can submit a request to this end.
Right of limitation of the processing
If you want to limit the processing of personal details by BTS (pending your requested correction of the personal details, objection submitted to the processing, or if you do not wish the details to be deleted although the processing is unlawful) you can submit a request to this end.
Right of transferability of details
If your personal details are not processed by BTS and if you want to transfer the details to another service provider you can submit a request to this end. Such a transfer is not always possible.
Right of objection
If we use your details for direct marketing you can object to this.

BTS shall make all efforts to comply with your rights under the General Data Protection Regulation
Complaints about the processing of your personal details BTS
If you have any complaints about the processing of your personal details by BTS, please contact Yvonne Jansma or Inge van der Heijden.
You are also entitled to submit a complaint to the supervisory authority, the Dutch Data Protection Authority.
